Dr. Ebrahimi will serve on the Steering Committee for the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2026, RFTT track.

Dr. Ebrahimi will serve as an Invited Speaker at the International Summit on Electronics and Electrical Engineering in November 2025.

Our team presented two papers at IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Symposium (RFIC) and IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) IMS this year!
1) The first paper is accepted to IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Symposium (RFIC)(RMo4A-3, 16:20–16:40):
“A 45 Gb/s D-Band Hybrid Star-QAM-OOK Transmitter Using a Quad-Harmonic Modulator with Constant Impedance Balanced Architecture”
2) The second paper is accepted to IMS: “Double HOOK: A 140 GHz 15 Gb/s Reconfigurable 3-Level ASK Modulator with Constant Input Impedance for High-Speed Connectivity”
🌟 For the second year in a row, our IMS paper has been recognized as a Top-50 IMS submission, selected for the Best Student Paper competition, and is currently published as a Special issue on IEEE Microwave and Wireless Technology Letters(MWTL), link below

Dr. Ebrahimi will serve as a member of the Technical Program Committee for Wireless Transceivers and RF/mm-Wave Circuits and Systems at the 2025 IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC).

Dr. Ebrahimi will serve as a member of the Technical Program Committee on the mm-Wave and THz ICs (mmW-THz) subcommittee for IEEE BiCMOS and Compound Semiconductor Integrated Circuits and Technology Symposium (BCICTS) and International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2025.

Dr. Ebrahimi will serve as a member of the Technical Program Committee for Wireless Transceivers and RF/mm-Wave Circuits and Systems at the 2025 IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC).

Dr Ebrahimi will serve as a member of the Technical Program Committee for the Terahertz Communications, Sensing and Security 2024 at IEEE MILCOM.

Our invited paper, “Dual-Keying Hybrid Modulation for Physical Layer Security in 5G/6G Scalable Array,” has been accepted for presentation at the 2024 IEEE Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS) and selected as a top student finalist for the best paper award competition. Haoling has been also awarded the Student Participation Grant to support his participation in MWSCAS 2024. Congratulations, Haoling!

Dr. Ebrahimi presented on the next generation of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the CHIPS Act’s influence at Northeastern University’s Center for STEM Education. The event, attended by students from the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) and the Young Scholars Program (YSP), explored future research and career opportunities in 5G/6G technologies and the Semiconductor and CHIPS Acts’ impact.

Our group presented our recent work on a D-band 1-bit OOK-doubler featuring “constant-like” impedance under modulation and heterogeneously integrated with glass antenna at IMS 2024. Our paper has been selected as an IMS top-50 submission and is published in IEEE Microwave and Wireless Technology.
Our team member, Haoling Li will present.
